PRIMARY MARK
The game - held in Forth Worth, Texas - was created to honor those who serve/served in the many branches of the United States Military.
So, in working with Executive Director, Brant Ringler, the design was given an All-American feel with strong balance. The shield - a symbol of protection - was used as the backdrop for the mark, along with American Flag colors and elements, and a yellow banner to enhance the bowl’s name recognition within the image. The sponsor’s logo and flying football were added to the layout to complete the piece. The boldness of the final Primary Mark lended itself well to jersey patches (shown at left), souvenir game programs, merchandise, and all other applications.
After a stint in Dallas during renovations to Amon G. Carter Stadium, the bowl game now continues to flourish in Fort Worth and on the college football scene.
